We had a wonderful time here. We did not want to leave it was very pleasant and nice. There was just minor adjustments to be made like master bedroom dresser was a little worn and need replacement, but overall the rooms were beautiful and very clean. The whole house was clean and beautiful we would love to choose this property again in the future.
Over all my stay was excellent

I loved the location and that the room had been upgraded very nice. The thing I like the least is it was very noisey while we were there. There was some noisey guests staying there that weekend!
I am ready to return!

This was a reuniting of brothers and cousins after 3 years, so it was an emotional time. The Sunset House enveloped us as family. It was perfect, comfortable and classy. The kitchen provided everything we needed and all beds were comfortable. The front porch chairs were my favorite for reading. The extra perks (fun track) were awesome to stretch our budget. I would love to work parttime for Newman Dailey. Have a glass of wine on the top balcony of Sunset at sunset and you'll experience the magic!

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Our room was very nice; the bathtub was large, which was nice. We were only there one night, so I can't comment on the amenities. If we had had more time, we would have enjoyed the beach across the street. What we liked least was the early check-out time which was 10 a.m. We have never stayed at any other place that had such an early check-out time. It can be inconvenient when you arrive late the night before and need to sleep a little longer. However, I will say that the staff was very nice in extending our check-out time to 11 a.m.
Definitely will return!

Super nice and accommodating! Kellie is a joy. Rooms are redone beautifully. Very clean. Most importantly, the two small furry members of my family were welcome and felt very at home. :-)

This is our 3rd year to stay in Seamist, 2nd stay in Seamist #1, by far our favorite. We have been coming to Florida for nearly 20 years and this was our best trip ever and we are looking forward to visiting again next year and have extended our stay to 2 months. Weather was trhe best we have had in years and the beach was gorgeous. Can't wait to return. We received very good service, had one minor issue we noticed shortly after arrival and it was immediately taken care of by Newman Daily. Seamist 1 is great, great location, well equipped and friendly neighbor - Don is great. See you next year!

We rode bikes, played basketball (sortof-haha), horseshoes, tennis, table games, walked trails, checked out the lake, beach, pool areas, hung out on the wonderful peaceful porch, listened to music, ate at area restaurants and had the best time! The service people were very friendly and helpful. We loved everything...except the sleep quality of the sleeper sofa matress. This place was truely awesome and we had a fabulous time. We enjoyed the owner's sign in book, they seem like really sweet and special people and appreciate their sharing this piece of heaven!

My husband and I stayed the week of Thanksgiving for our Honeymoon. Everything was wonderful. We loved the master bath and the wonderful view from the balcony. It was awesome to walk straight out to the beach whenever we wanted to.

I was celebrating my birthday and the Emerald Beach House was the perfect home for my family and friends. Three floors made it spacious and roomy enough to comfortably accomodate our party of 11 adults and 7 kids. The family room was perfect for watching football or playing games and opened onto the veranda and pool, giving it an open feel. The team at Newman-Dailey were welcoming and helpful from check-in and throughout our stay. They tried to accomodate our request to heat the pool but unfortunately a broken part kept the temperature cool. Of course, that didn't stop the kids from swimming. The beach is a perfect place for a celebration and a Destin vacation rental is perfect for bringing everyone together. Next time, I'd like to try the Newman-Dailey Celebration Vacation package with meal and portrait session. Great experience! My family and I had a blast. I would highly recommend Emerald Beach House.

We, 2 couples from Germany, spent 15 days in the Pelican Perch. The house was equipped very well, we lacked nothing. The decoration in the house fits perfectly, everything is pretty and furnished charmingly. In the garden/patio we often used the BBQ, on the porch we sat in the rocking chair or on the swing to late in the evening. The way to the crystal beach is short, the sand and the water are great. We come again.

Two bedrooms downstairs are identical in size, with one bath between them and it was perfect. Plenty of seating space in living room, huge TV for big Ole Miss/Mississippi State game, wonderful master suite on second floor with tons of space, and great outdoor seating areas on all three floors. We could have easily slept 6 more people, and anyone with children will love the twin beds at the top of the second-floor stairs. The third-floor loft area is also great for kids or for someone who needs to work away from everyone else on their computer. And proximity to everything was about as perfect as you could get. We'll be back!

All staff members were friendly. We liked the condo that we stayed in with the amenities and beautiful surroundings and view. We loved to watch the Sunset from the balcony. It was beautiful! The location was great and convenient to the things that we like to do.

House was much larger than expected-children enjoyed the pool. Newman Daily were very attentive-we asked to have the pool heated and they sent someone that day to turn it on-we had a couple of minor issues and every time we called they sent someone to handle the issue (pool heater appeared not to be heating). Once you call them they send someone if necessary and then call to make sure the issue has been resolved. Would highly recommend Newman-Dailey to anyone looking to rent in the area. House was awesome and so were they. Location was great. Couple of blocks to the beach. Looking forward to our next vacation in Destin. We will definitely go through Newman-Dailey and more than likely rent the Sandcastle again.

Our family stayed in this beautiful cottage for Thanksgiving. It was perfect. The cottage is just as depicted in the pictures. The development is beautiful as well. We hope to return often!
